I have been looking for real Hungarian kolbasz (sausage) or salami but could find only imitations. This one is very good and I would buy it again and recommend it to those who like spicy sausages.
Bende is Good salami but Pick is still the best Hungarian SalamiMay 25, 2011

The Bende salami tastes kind of like the Pick Salami but the texture is different. Bende is softer and hence a little difficult to slice thinly. I still think Pick is the best but Bende is a good alternative if Pick is not available.
Mediocre at bestApr 08, 2011
By Nigel John I was a little disappointing, as I expected more the price. The salami was some-what dry, and was "shy" in have the paprika-smoky taste I expected. It was hard, and very very fatty. In terms of overall quality it is mediocre at best. But too expensive, and even more value is lost in paying for shipping.

Knowing the Hungarians, they like a lot of fat/heavy stuff. It tasted good but LOTS OF FAT. Would buy again for ethnic reasons
