 Substitute CheeseJun 08, 2008

Having searched for a Val de Saone brie on the internet I ordered from Le Village and received a substitute Eiffel Tower which Igourmet had also substituted. Although the Eiffel Tower is excellent it is no substitute for the Val de Saone. Contacted LeVillage and received no answer.

"Mom of Many Interests"
My mom is 1/2 Norwegian and has loved all types of cheese for as long as I have known her -- which is a long time! She has really been on a Brie kick of late and when my sister would buy it for her in the local stores, it is expensive and not nearly as good.
I had this sent to my mom for her birthday and an early Christmas present and she was so thrilled with it. It arrived quickly (within 48 hours of placing the order) and she is enjoying it so much. My sister said the look on her face when she was presented with such a large wheel of cheese was "priceless".
I haven't had a chance to taste this personally but frankly I have never been a Brie connoisseur. However, knowing that my mom, who has had more Brie in her lifetime than probably the makers of this cheese -- if she likes it, it has GOT to be good!
Thank you to Amazon and to the Rapid Gourmet for giving me a chance to bring some joy to my mom who lives so far away!! Given the price, quality and service, I know I will be a repeat customer.

My 90 year old Mom was delighted with her Brie cheese. She hadn't had any for quite a while so I had it shipped right to her home for Mother's day.
