You Cannot Go Wrong With CotswaldApr 20, 2006
By David Daniel Take wonderful rich Double Gloucester cheese and add bits of chive and onion and you get this perfect cheese to eat anytime. Perfect with your favorite beer. The flavor is just great. It is a hard and crumbly sharp cheese very popular in English pubs for years. Double Gloucester gets its name because twice the normal amount of milk is used in the cheddar type recipe for added richness.

Great with BeerJul 13, 2005

Any type of cheese from iGourmet is excellent, but this one is a big favorite. It is not really different or smelly or weird and everybody who has tried it loves it. We just have it on crackers with a beer or a glass of white wine. It has just the right tanginess of chives and onion. It is a real treat and very difficult to find in stores. You will want to have some of this around the house for a snack or a party.
