------Recipe for Saganaki.(Fried Kefalograviera cheese)------ Servings: 4. Ingredients: 1 Whole Egg . 1/4 Cup Flour . 1/2 lb Kefalotiri . 1 Whole Lemons Squeezed . Directions: Beat the egg in a bowl and put the flour on a plate. Dip the piece of cheese in the egg, then roll in the flour. Heat butter in a frying pan and fry the cheese until the flour coating is golden. Awesome cheese for saganaki!!!!!Jul 12, 2009 I live in Texas so there is not much, actually no, Greek cheese available here to make Saganaki. This cheese was absolutely delicious!!! Just as good as in a restaurant in Canada. I'm a so happy to have found a source for this cheese. It did arrive with the ice packets completely melted but it was 100 degrees or more that day. It didn't seem to affect the quality at all.
