I have bought these crumpets in the past and were delighted, but this time around they were dry and brittle and broke apart in the package, had to throw them out. However the rest of the transaction was professional and shipping speedy. I cannot understand why the first time these were so nice, just like home, and this time so dry and unedible. Would not order again

I miss my grandma's homemade crumpets but since I cannot have them, I decided to look online,maybe somebody would make them as well as my grandma.Well, I've tried 4 different brands and they all had sugar or other flavoring in them and that was simply NOT like my grandma's. I was almost hopeless when I decided to give these crumpets a try.
Well, they are very close to the ones I crave during cold months(I relate crumpets with cold weather, have no idea why since you can eat them all year long) taking me back to my grandma's kitchen.They are totally worthy having and I recommend them to everyone,I just don't understand why it is always showing they are unavailable on Amazon, but if you subscribe to be notified when they become available, you will get them soon.Weird but anyway.BUY THESE, they are wonderful.

I lived in England for a few years then moved back to the US. One of the many tasty English foods I really miss are crumpets! So I was super excited to find some on Amazon and thought I'd give it a try! These are good crumpets though I am still searching for some that are as great as I got in the UK. Maybe I'll never find them..sigh. But these crumpets are still really good and I would definitely buy them again!

Better than English muffins; a little more dense with more numerous, smaller holes in the surface; when toasted not as brittle as an American made English muffin; these crumpets work well as a platform for little sandwiches or traditional marmalade or lemon curd. And they are FAT FREE! If you like English muffins definitely give these a try. I love um.
