A gift of a different kindJan 09, 2010
By Mark J. Chappell What do you get for the person who already has just about everything? A nice gift basket would be nice, but finding one with just the right treats in it at a reasonable price is tiresome shopping. Amazon has a large selection of unique foods. When it comes to a gift... some things just gather dust or your intended receiver doesn't need another cell phone, mp3, or maybe doesn't have your taste in art, but I can always remember what a friend likes to eat. I chose Italian foods cookies and a nostalgic collection of candies from the 40s for my mother. She really enjoyed the gifts that arrived in time for the holiday. Best of all, I didn't have to haul everything down to the already overworked postal workers and keep my fingers crossed for weeks that everything would arrive in good condition. Amazon and their associates have always given me good value and quick neat shipping. The customer service that the associates have given me is the type of service that even the pickiest person cold find no fault with. I am very pleased with my Amazon shopping experience.Amazon shopping gave me a way to get a gift to my mother in The United States while I sat at my computer in Brazil.
