Pepperoni heavenDec 16, 2006

I just got my order today which consisted of two nice sticks. Not too thin, not too thick. Delivery was amazing. It came on the second estimated delivery date and the order was at a good price for what I got. The two sticks were well packaged and even included a scrumptious looking catalog. Unfortunately I haven't been able to find stick pepperoni in the stores like I used to so to finally find someone who sells them in sticks, I was in heaven. This pepperoni was fantastic for several reasons. The sticks I used to buy in the stores which were greasy, as soon as you open these sticks they were were nice and dry. The outer covering, was welded onto the sticks unlike those long ago store bought sticks where you'd have to peel away the outer covering which came off looking like paper. I didn't have to peel these. These sticks were easy to cut, or as I like to do, just tear off a chunk. The best thing about these sticks whether you eat a small or large portion, it goes down easy and I didn't get any painful indigestion, or stomach pain. Looking at the ingredients on the package they're the same as those sticks I can no longer find at the market, but in in much smaller quantities so there was just enough to flavor, but not enough overpower to the point of indigestion. With these, you're actually eating meat, not tasting outer covering and they're filling. I'll really savor the second stick. The next time I have a craving for pepperoni in a stick, these are going to be what I choose as they put me in pepperoni heaven.

I was really looking forward to these and was disappointed. The flavor is more sausage than pepperoni. I can't find stick pepperoni in my new state and was hoping this would be my solution. Tastes vary from person to person. If you enjoy Hormel or Boar's Head pepperoni, this is very different.

Long lost treatSep 13, 2010

I made trips to San Diego, CA 20+ years ago and enjoyed a pepperoni such as this. I would purchase it in the deli of an Italian restaurant and have been looking for pepperoni of this quality ever since. I enjoy this by itself, but it is great with wine and cheese. This is also a "must have" if you are creating your own pepperoni pizza at home.
More like what I wantedJun 27, 2011
By clip prince I live in Missouri, and have found it nearly impossible to find pepperoni that tastes like pepperoni. If you like Bridgeford, you don't want my review ( I think that stuff is horrible), but if you want a good tasteing old school pepporoni, this stuff is pretty good. Not a ten, but a 8-9 anyway. I will buy more even at the high price.
