Robiola Bosina - 8 oz

Robiola is an Italian soft-ripened cheese of the Stracchino family, made with varying proportions of cows, goats milk and sheep milk. Robiola is generally served as a table cheese, either alone or with oil, salt and pepper. It must be stored properly after being purchased, and will keep fresh for up to one month. It has a tangy taste, pungent smell (resembling a mix between jasmine and sweaty socks) and if one can overcome the smell, the taste is delectable. Robiola can also be used in cooking including famous Piemonte dishes such as "risotto robiola" and "aglio robiola spaghetti" and other dishes.
