We ordered the Chocolate Lover's Cake for a special occasion. It looked good, the frosting was good, but the cake was very dry. All the frosting in the world can't cover up a dry cake. Very disappointed especially when promised a moist cake.

I recently purchased one of the Chocolate Lover's Cake from Omaha Steaks and I wanted to review it and let others know how scrumptious this cake really is. It is extremely moist and flavorful. This cake is so delicious and moist. Surprising from a mail-order cake. I've ordered steaks from Omaha Steaks before, but never cake. Well, look at me talking when there's science to do. So if you love chocolate cake, buy this cake. This cake is NOT a lie!

Sorry I have to say that although I've enjoyed many foods from Omaha Steaks, this chocolate lovers cake was not one of them. The cake was extremely dry and the frosting was very bitter. A friend and I were disappointed upon trying to eat it and threw most of it away.
