Good for Low CarbJul 05, 2008

I tried this flavor and the Garden Vegetable Flavor from the same company. As others have mentioned, these tortillas are great for those on a low carb diet. They give you that "carb fix" without the actual carbs. One thing that I would note is that they are quite thin and they break a bit easily. I am not as convinced as some others that the taste of these tortillas are particularly good, but as I said, for those on a low carb diet, these are great.

Good low-carb tortillaMay 02, 2008
By W. Sutton Jr. I bought these because Submarina (a local sandwich franchise) uses Tumaro's Low Carb tortilla's for their wraps. Well, I will say this, they are better at Submarina but then again it is probably because they are better sandwich makers. If you watching your carb intake I highly recommend these Tumaro's tortillas. They don't have as many calories (if you are counting those also) as some of the other low carb torillas. These also have a better taste than some of the others that I have tried. Some of the other brands have a distinct taste that I can only describe as "Elmer's glue like". The texture is comparable to a standard corn tortilla, kind of chewy. As far as flavor goes, I prefer Mission Low Carb tortilla's but they have more calories, they are more expensive, and the texture is more "fluffy" (I actually don't mind the texture.) Overall, Tumaro's is a nice bread substitute that will help keep your Carb intake down. As an additional plus, I just found these at my local grocery store and it was less expensive on Amazon (including free shipping).

Delicious!Sep 14, 2007
By J. Kendall I love these. One note of caution -- when cooked, they dry out easily, so I've found the key is to make sure that you cook them *with* whatever will eventually be on them.
So, for instance, I often like to have just a tortilla with cheese -- a tortilla topped with cheddar (or mixed cheese), toasted in the toaster oven. These turn out great, provided I ensure that every bit of the top of the tortilla is covered with cheese. Any bits that aren't will dry out and become hard as a rock.

These are the bestSep 18, 2006
By G. Silberman These tortilla shells taste just like the high carb variety. When I found these and tried them out I could not believe how good they were. I can actually eat fajitas and sandwiches again now and avoid a lot of carbs. Excellent product.
