Be warned -- shipping costs 3X the price of the cheeseFeb 25, 2009

To spare another purchaser the disappointment I suffered when I discovered that, while the 8oz block of cheese costs just $6.99, shipping for this item is $23.99. Whew ... So forget about that, then. Just to add, however -- no offense to the previous reviewer, but this is a gorgeous cheese. Dry, crumbling, somewhat salty ... mmmm. But I'd rather save my pennies, fly over to Wensleydale in Yorkshire, and buy some in person ...

A Wallace and Gromit stapleAug 01, 2008
By L. Domkowski This is a rather good cheese, not great, but good. But we really made this purchase because of the connection it has with the Wallace and Gromit films.
It Came Spoiled!Dec 23, 2011
By A.Sanchez I was so disappointed. I ordered from here before I found a different company. The cheese I ordered from this other company was less expensive and delish! This cheese's odor was indescribably disgusting and I had to deskunk the whole kitchen! It was spoiled!
