Fantastic!!!May 24, 2009 A wonderful substitute to fresh foie gras! It is absolutly fantastic in both flavor and texture! My favorite thing to do is soak them in whole milk and honey for about an hour then saute them in truffle oil! Luxury at its finest! It is too bad that some people have the inconsideration to write innapropriate OPINIONS.

Lovely...Mar 24, 2009 I wasn't going to write a review, though the product is excellent...till I saw that I needed to balance out the idiots rating this 1 star and using this as a forum to preach. So 5 stars from me!

Inappropriate reviewsDec 21, 2008 This is not an area to argue your views. This is an area to review a product. If you have not purchased this product from Amazon then why are you here? Trying to save the world one evil corporate farmer at a time? Find another place to do it. I would like to shop.

THOSE WHO EAT NEED TO READ THISSep 02, 2007 I knew people would write on what a cruel product this is but you should also be aware of the USDA program that will be cruel to the ranchers/farmers (who grow the healthy grass-fed organic meat you want) and a serious burden on those who own even one farm animal as a pet.
The USDA has a program supposedly designed to track animal disease but will affect every last animal owner in the US just so corporate agriculture can benefit and sell their meat globally. While corporate ag gets a free ride, those who own even one livestock animal will have to register their premises (thus losing property rights), microchip each critter (cost $$$$) and file birth, death and movement reports within 24 hours or face huge fines. (BUT Big ag gets JUST ONE lot number per group of animals.) Called NAIS, (national animal identification system) it will put livestock owners under more surveillance than illegals, terrorists or sex offenders. You will not find news of this program on mainstream media. See nonais.org for more info.
